Cristabelle De Souza, Ph.D. is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Pathology and Stem Cell Research at Stanford University. She completed her Ph.D. training at the UC Davis Medical Center before beginning her postdoctoral work at Stanford University in November 2020. She has a strong research background in functional genomics and molecular therapeutics in the realm of cancer biology with multiple publications and awards during her doctoral career. Her current aim during her postdoc is to identify novel immune markers of liver fibrosis, desmoid type fibramatosis and cancer progression with the ultimate aim of developing therapeutics that can effectively target these proteins for treating patients in the clinic.
