Jessica White, PhD student

Jessica White is currently a PhD student in the Tri-Institutional program for Computational Biology and Medicine. Previously, she was a Director of Strategy and Business Development at SpringWorks Therapeutics, where she focused on the epidemiology of rare neoplastic disorders, including desmoid tumors and neurofibromatosis type 1-associated plexiform neurofibromas. She has also held various positions in healthcare finance, including Private Equity Associate at OrbiMed Advisors and Healthcare Investment Banking Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. She received a master’s degree in computational biology from Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences and the Sloan Kettering Institute in the lab of Dr. Olivier Elemento, where she created a connectivity mapping pipeline to identify small molecule compounds able reverse transcriptional signatures of biological and disease states of interest.
